A NEW CAR!

Some of you may or may not know...but we got a new vehicle! YAY! We decided to sell Chris's car, even though it is a great car and gets good gas mileage. Chris had a really hard time with his car this winter. He got stuck in the snow so many times...it was ridiculous! So I'll give you a play by play of the scenario of getting a new car...

June 30: Chris sells his car in Brigham and borrows Nathan's (his brother) old car
June 28-July 4: We called two people to set up times on the 5th of July to see their Subaru Forester
July 5th: As we were driving to Brigham to meet Chris's parents to see the cars, my car broke down! It was 7:30 in the morning! The battery light had come on, part way through the canyon when you pressed on the brake, the radio cut out...then the blinkers and wipers wouldn't work. We were driving though his parents' neighborhood and as we turned down the road his grandparents live on my car died. Some people may say...'that's not too bad.' To you I would say...you're right that was pretty lucky. BUT...when my car dies...it DIES! My car horn goes off and will not stop! Let me remind you it was 7:30 in the morning! SO embarrassing! So...at this point we were stranded in Brigham...with no cars, but Nathan's (that we were borrowing...but it was in Logan). Chris's parents drove us to Sandy to see the first car...we got to the door and the wife told us they had sold the Forester...so that was a bust. We then went to Park City to see the next Forester...it was great! The lady even let us pay a down payment and take the car before we paid them in full! It was really lucky!
